Food Innovation Showcase
Food, Nutrition and Human Performance is the theme of the upcoming major event for the food industry and related businesses. This will be a unique opportunity to see the capabilities of all NZ universities under one roof and to meet the researchers, academic experts and the University commercialisation staff who can assist companies in engaging with universities. This will also be a great opportunity to network with colleagues in the food industry.

The food industry icon and entrepreneur, Dick Hubbard, Chairman Hubbard Foods Ltd, will be a special guest at the event and will make a presentation. Displays will cover the breadth and depth of University capabilities from primary production to the dinner plate. TechNZ will be on hand to advise on grants to assist innovation, R&D, technology strategy, student fellowships and interns.
The showcase is being held at the Hotel Pullman Auckland (previously Hyatt Hotel) at 5:30pm to 8:00pm on Monday 14 March, 2011 with free entry, drinks and canapés.
